Camera SN Verification
Reads the camera serial numbers (SN) currently stored on the device for checking. This is a read-only operation and does not change any data on the device.
When to Use
- After replacing a camera module, check whether the camera SN stored on the device has been updated.
- After Camera Calibration (offline image) is complete, confirm the new SN has taken effect.
- Record the device's camera SNs for archiving before and after a repair.
Before You Start
- The device is powered on and fully booted, connected to the computer with a USB cable.
- The software has detected the device (see Connect a Device).
- Your account has Camera SN Verification access.
Steps
- After the device is detected, click Camera SN Verification on the left.
- Click Verify Serial Numbers and wait for the reading to finish.
- Check each camera serial number against the results.
Reading the Results
- Each camera module shows one SN. Models with multiple cameras show multiple SNs, for example:
- Mavic 3: 2 (main camera, telephoto)
- Mavic 3 Pro / Mavic 4 Pro: 3
- Matrice enterprise models: 4
- The number of SNs shown depends on the model; always follow what the device actually displays.
Notes
- This feature only reads data and does not modify anything. To change a camera SN, use the offline image feature Camera Calibration.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Device not detected: power-cycle the device and try again, or see Can't Detect the Device?.
- Reading fails: retry once; if it fails repeatedly, take a screenshot (including the device model and the message) and send it to 181806465@qq.com.
