ESC Repair

Sends an ESC repair command to the aircraft as a recovery attempt for ESC faults.

This feature is only shown to accounts with access. If you don't see it in the left menu, your account doesn't have it enabled.

When to Use

• The system reports an ESC abnormality after a crash (a common cause: a deformed frame shorts the motor wiring, putting the system into a protection state).

Before You Start

• The aircraft is powered on, connected to the computer, and detected (see Connect a Device).

Steps

1. After the aircraft is detected, open ESC Repair.
2. Click Start Repair and wait for the result.
3. Whatever the result says, restart the aircraft, then check whether the fault message is gone.

Reading the Results

• "Accepted": the device received the repair command. If the fault message disappears after the restart, the repair worked; if it still reports an ESC abnormality, it is a hardware fault that needs repair.
• "Empty response" or "No response": we cannot confirm whether the device accepted the command. Power-cycle the aircraft, check the connection, and try again.

If Something Goes Wrong

• Power-cycle the aircraft, check the USB cable connection, and retry.
• Still no response after several attempts: have the hardware inspected.
