Frequency Pairing

Sends a pairing command directly to the aircraft's core board, bypassing the battery-button path, to help locate where a pairing fault is.

This feature is only shown to accounts with access. If you don't see it in the left menu, your account doesn't have it enabled.

When to Use

• After water damage or a crash, pressing the battery button does not put the aircraft into pairing mode.
• You want a first check of whether the problem is in the battery, ESC, cables, or the core board.

Before You Start

• The aircraft is powered on, connected to the computer, and detected (see Connect a Device).

Steps

1. After the aircraft is detected, open Frequency Pairing.
2. Click Start Pairing.
3. Watch whether the aircraft enters pairing mode (pairing mode only lasts a short time).

Reading the Results

• The aircraft enters pairing mode: the core board is basically fine; the problem is more likely in the battery, ESC, or cables.
• The aircraft shows no response at all: the problem may be in the core board; have the hardware inspected.
• The page showing Sent only means the command was sent — it does not mean the aircraft entered pairing mode. Go by what the aircraft actually does.

If Something Goes Wrong

• Power-cycle the aircraft and try again.
• Still no response after several attempts: have the battery, ESC, cables, and core board inspected as hardware.
